Piano Jazz Barcodes Volume1 is a reflection of Jazz Nights at Piano Kensington and is released to coinside with the opening in May 2010 of Piano Soho.
This weekly appointment has become a highlight of their musical week, where members of the Bazz Norton Trio take a break from their other regular gigs to entertain and amuse with regular guest artists.
In keeping with the inclusive style of Piano Kensington, they have come together to offer a tasting plate of some of their favorite musical dishes.

All of these recordings are a result of 18 months of jazz nights, when Bazz, Sandy and Gary try to inject a new slant on popular jazz standards, without the benefit of rehearsal. The arrangements are spontaneous which gives them a fresh feel and the fun that they have shines through!

The arrangements reflect the very different backgrounds of members of the trio.
